There’s a 100% chance I couldn’t feel my toes when I took this. ❄️📸

There’s something about a frozen canal that makes everything feel like it’s on "mute." I stood here for 20 minutes just watching the geese try to navigate the ice—nature's best comedy show.

There’s something surreal about standing in the sleek, modern halls of the Grand Egyptian Museum and seeing the Great Pyramid of Giza perfectly aligned through the glass. It’s the ultimate bridge between the ancient world and the present day.

This striking statue depicts Hatshepsut, one of Ancient Egypt’s most successful and enigmatic female pharaohs. 👑
Originally a queen consort, she broke tradition by assuming the full powers of a Pharaoh, often commissioning statues like this one that combined traditional feminine features with the masculine symbols of office—such as the Nemes headdress and the ceremonial false beard. During her peaceful 22-year reign in the 15th century BCE, she established major trade routes and commissioned architectural wonders like her mortuary temple at Deir el-Bahari.
