Epilepsy & Meningitis Charity Ball

I was honoured to donate my services to not only two incredible causes for this charity event but to the astounding woman behind it, Sarah Abellan and her wonderful family.
Sarah and her daughter Gabriella, 14, both have epilepsy, while 20 years ago Sarah battled life-threatening meningitis, and now does her all to give back, including events such as this Charity Ball held at Bletchingley Golf Club.

I apologise for the very personal post, but I also hope this helps explain my delayed replies and unfortunately some delays in edits 💔

There isn’t many words I can find to say that I haven’t written in this page, except if you can, please have a read, if you’d like maybe share it for us and obviously any pennies for their future ❤️

Both of our families wouldn’t normally do something like this but the struggle is beyond hard already and it’s only getting harder for Gary and the girls, Stephanie Booker and her incredible heart came to this idea and we are sharing it far and wide.

In addition to this, Gary is back in hospital after being rushed in by ambulance, he’s fighting jaundice and post op complications from having a stent in his gall bladder and has been devastatingly told he cannot fly with the girls to Lisa’s funeral in Scotland on Friday, I’ll be taking his place and sorted the swap of flights but it’s so heartbreaking he can’t be there 😢

We appreciate every single kind message we’ve received (and apologise for not replying to everyone yet) every well wish, all of the help and support Gary has had, there are some truly wonderful people in the world and it’s the one thing helping everyone get through this.
