We understand how precious these moments are, and we will always do our best to accommodate last-minute bookings for elderly or sick dogs. The session will be gentle, relaxed and completely at your dog’s pace, ensuring they feel comfortable in the studio.

Why we don’t deliver unedited photos (and why that’s a good thing!) 🐾

We get it - after an amazing photoshoot, you’re excited to see everything! But here’s why we carefully select and edit only the best images for you:

👉 A session might produce hundreds of shots, but not every blink, mid-sneeze, or blurry zoomie moment deserves a place in your gallery. We pick the best shots where your dog looks their absolute best.
👉 Every final image is carefully retouched to enhance details, adjust lighting, and remove distractions like stray hairs. It’s what makes your dog’s portrait truly special!
👉 Rather than leaving you with 400+ unedited shots to sift through, we handpick the very best moments - so that all you have to do is handpick your absolute favourites that we will edit for you.

Think of it as going to a restaurant, ordering a delicious meal, and then asking the chef to serve it half-cooked with raw ingredients, unfinished plating, and none of the magic that makes it special. Sounds strange, right?

That’s exactly why we don’t deliver unedited photos. Just like a chef carefully prepares and perfects every dish before serving it, we take the time to curate, retouch, and enhance every image - making sure it’s just right.

Trust us, we’ve got you! Every photo you receive is one we’d be proud to hang on a wall.

One dog is already unpredictable.

Add a second… or a third… and getting everyone to look at the camera at the same time suddenly feels impossible. 😂

The good news? It doesn't have to be.

Photographing multiple dogs is something we do all the time, and we never expect them to sit perfectly still or behave like little robots. Every session is tailored to your dogs, with plenty of patience, breaks, and a few tricks we've learned over the years.

Whether your dogs are best friends, complete opposites, or simply have endless energy, we'll create portraits that capture their unique personalities—and the bond they share.

And yes, you can bring as many dogs as you like. There’s no extra charge for multi-dog sessions.

“But my dog never looks at the camera!” 🐶👀

This is one of the biggest worries we hear from dog parents before a session - “What if my dog won’t look at the camera?” And guess what? You’re not alone!

Most dogs don’t naturally sit and stare at a lens like a professional model (unless, of course, they think the camera is secretly a treat dispenser! 😂).

But that’s where we come in! At Zimtstudio, we know exactly how to get their attention - whether it’s with special sounds, secret words, their favorite toy, or the irresistible promise of a bit of jamon. And sometimes, the best moments happen when you don’t plan it - those little head tilts, the curious glances, the side eye they give you when you act like a clown to catch their attention.

The truth is, we don’t need your dog to "pose." We just need them to be themselves. That’s where the magic happens! So don’t worry about training them to look a certain way or sit still - their personality is all we need in order to capture photos you’ll love. 🐾✨

If you live in Barcelona, you might already know the dog brand Caninetto.

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming the founders into our studio for a very special private session - Tara and her human Haritz.

Tara came in wearing her Caninetto collar (like a true CEO) looking completely at ease and ready for her moment in front of the camera.

What we love most about sessions like this isn’t the setup, but the connection you can feel between the dog and their person. Those small interactions, the way they move together, and the trust that shows up naturally in front of the lens.

This session with Tara was exactly that: simple, relaxed, and full of personality.

It looks like our corgi models thought they were at an all-you-can-eat peanut butter buffet 😂

We’re not saying bribery works... but we’re also not not saying it.

Peanut butter is our secret weapon when it comes to getting those fun, tongue-out photos! The results are always hilarious, and our clients love them!

And honestly, does it get any cuter than corgis?

Metzli visited us in the studio for the 4th time! And this time she didn’t come alone -she brought her sister and a friend. The trio completely took over the studio in the best way.

Three dogs, three personalities, one session full of energy, chaos, and so many genuine moments in between.

From individual portraits to group shots, they gave us so many amazing images that show exactly what we love most about these sessions: real character, real connection, and dogs just being themselves.

They’re elegant, athletic, and somehow also the biggest goofballs we’ve ever had in front of the camera.

And guess what? We had an amazing time.

A dog photoshoot might sound a little extra at first, but it’s actually just a really fun way to celebrate the four-legged chaos gremlin you love most 🐶💛
