These photos were taken during a shoot where I heard a story that deeply moved me.

One of the performers, who moved to Barcelona two years ago, told me about his journey. When he left, he sold everything: his car, his apartment, even gave away personal belongings. Among those was a photo album he nearly discarded, thinking it held little value.

Years later, when a friend planned to visit him in Barcelona, she asked what she could bring. At first, he had no answer—he thought he needed nothing. Then he remembered the album, left behind with family or friends, and asked her to bring it.

When he opened it, he was overwhelmed. Inside were countless photos of his beloved dog, who had passed away, and moments with his mother, his partner, and friends from years ago. Each image unlocked a flood of memories, emotions, and stories he thought he’d forgotten.

He told me that day how much he now treasures photography—not just for capturing a moment, but for preserving a lifetime. Photos remind us of things our memory cannot hold onto forever. They let us relive our lives, reconnect with the people and feelings we once cherished, and truly see how far we’ve come.

Sunset is the perfect time for a photo shoot, especially in an open field. There’s so much space and fresh air. It’s always a delight to steal the newlyweds away for a sunset photo session. The light at this time creates incredibly warm, soulful, and cinematic photos.

This time, we decided not only to capture moments with the couple but also include their friends and bridal party. This added an extra layer of fun and unforgettable memories. It wasn’t just romantic, but also lively and enjoyable
