Because they remind me how to be present and in the moment.

I love to capture their laugh, their curiosity and the details that make them unique.

Get them playing by the park or beach, even in their home, give them space to be who they are and you’ll be amaze at the art we can create.

STOP SCROLLING for a minute.

Our trip to Finland was one of the most bizarre and fun trips I’ve done in awhile.

Regardless we loved it, we went to Rovaniemi and looked for a family photographer to do our family photos.

It didn’t work out because I didn’t plan it properly and she was already booked, but this something I plan on doing and budgeting for every time we go on a holiday, because I’m always behind the camera or doing selfies and to be hi honest, they don’t do justice.

I hear you momma! You want your kids smiling in the photos, whether you're doing a professional photo shoot or snapping pictures while on your phone.

Sometimes we simply want their beautiful smile.

So here are some tips to help you get that smile:

1) Bring out the tickle monster!
Seriously! who doesn't like the tickle monster?

2) Make silly faces.
I know you want beautiful smiles, but if we let them be silly for a bit, they will be more willing to smile for the photo.

3) Jokes and silly noises.
My daughter is five years old, and anything regarding farts and p**p is hilarious to her, so I'll make a silly sound that automatically gets her laughing, and it works like magic.

4) For older kids:
I don't pressure them to laugh or smile. The more you pressure the less they would want to smile.
