📸 CONFINED HUMANITY 📷
In these hard times of confinement, we are forced to face ourselves. Somehow we are all equals in front of this inner challenge, and it is up to us to transform this into an opportunity for creativity and introspection :
How do we feel?
What have changed deep inside ourselves?
What has reawaken in us?
To illustrate this global upheaval, Œil Sauvage Productions is calling upon creative people all around the world.
Through the art of photography and particularly self-portrait, we wanted to launch an original and international artistic project. A needed, intimate and creative testimony.
Each participant has to take some pictures of themselves, with a camera or a smartphone, in a current quarantine situation. It must represent your confined daily life. In black and white or colored portraits.
The instruction is simple: BE YOURSELVES.
With your family, alone, hugging your pet, in your kitchen, living room or bathroom, the picture can be humoristic or melancholic, the main idea is to immortalize the essence of your confinement.
Whatever country you are living in, highlight it!
Are you ready?
Please send your creations before the 30th of May to this email address: [email protected]
- Your three favorite creations, without filters (please choose the same frame for all, landscape or portrait)
- Your name and the city you are living in.
- A title or a sentence which illustrate your state of mind at the moment of capturing the picture
- The location, day and time of your creation.
- The camera or smartphone you used.
- Your Instagram account if you have one.
Need help? Zoe, our artistic director is more than available to assist you on staging or capturing the pictures, and answer all the questions you may have.
WHAT THEN ?
It will happen in 3 steps:
1) Throughout the project, we will daily post your best pictures on our Instagram page
2) Once all the creations received and selected, we will exhibit all of them in a dedicated website.
3) We will organize a network of exhibition in most of represented countries, in partnership with art galleries and international cultural centers. The main part of the collected funds will be donated to local healthcare associations.
