📸 La quinta sesión de nuestro proyecto está protagonizada por dos cantaores jerezanos de prestigio. Tomasa Guerrero "La Macanita" y Jesús Méndez lucen de esta manera junto al precioso caballo Altanero CCIII de la Yeguada Cartuja Hierro del Bocado en la inmensidad de las Bodegas Williams & Humbert.
Tomasa Guerrero ‘La Macanita’ es una de las indiscutibles figuras del flamenco actual. Cantaora larga y llena de jondura, temple y pellizco, La Macanita es heredera y continuadora de voces cantaoras como La Paquera, Fernanda de Utrera y La Perla de Cádiz. Artista de amplio repertorio, emociona su eco por soleá y brilla por bulerías.
Por su parte, Jesús Méndez representa con su voz el cante vivo, firme, incorrupto. Nacido en el seno de una saga importantísima jerezana, la de los Méndez, cuyo buque insignia fue La Paquera de Jerez, Jesús empezó su carrera a los diecisiete años y, desde entonces, nos regala la magia de su garganta flamenca.

Tomasa Guerrero 'La Macanita' is one of the undisputed figures of current flamenco. A singer full of depth, temper and who touches the soul, La Macanita is the heir and successor of singing voices such as La Paquera, Fernanda de Utrera and La Perla de Cádiz. She is an artist with a wide repertoire where her echo thrills with soleá and shines with bulerías.
For his part, Jesús Méndez embodies a lively, firm, and uncorrupted singing with his voice. He was born within a very important Jerez saga, that of Méndez, whose flagship was La Paquera de Jerez. Jesús began his career at the age of seventeen and, since then, he has given us the magic of his flamenco voice.
