G4/KP9 week — Iceland 01/26 🇮🇸
Segunda foto de aquella semana de enero en la que pudimos disfrutar, aunque brevemente, de la mayor tormenta solar de los últimos 20 años.
Después de 3-4 días de lluvia y viento extremo, una rueda pinchada y más de 1.500 km en 24 horas, a pocas horas de coger el vuelo de vuelta, sobre las 3/4 de la mañana, se obró el milagro.
Y apareció el mayor arco boreal que he visto nunca. Fue tan inmenso que tuve que opté por una panorámica vertical de varias tomas.
La próxima foto que suba de Islandia no va a dejar indiferente a nadie.

Second photo from that January week when we briefly got to experience the strongest solar storm in the last 20 years.
After 3–4 days of rain and extreme winds, a flat tyre and more than 1,500 km driven in 24 hours, just a few hours before our flight home, around 3–4 AM, the sky finally cleared.
And then the biggest aurora arc I’ve ever seen appeared. It was so massive that I had to shoot a 4-frame vertical panorama.
