Meet the team of PROJECT FALSE SPRING
Prashant Rana has worked on long term documentary photography projects across the globe. He works in collaboration with NGOs, scientists, artists, and native residents of the place in the center of his projects. His philosophy of bringing the project to the people represented in his photos, is what makes him unique. He believes that if he cannot show his work to the locals that are directly affected or managing the core subject issue, he doesn't deserve to take it elsewhere and publish.
Empathy is the very source from where his photography emerges. As a writer, lyricist, painter, guitar and flute player, bathroom singer, dancer while cooking, and inventor, he is usually unaware of the box made by social conditioning.
His projects are not only displayed worldwide, they're also acknowledged by governments and local press for their socio-political importance. His approach and vision intends to contribute in not only documenting, but also finding solutions for managing climate change in Ladakh.
