Good morning everyone!

I've been in Switzerland for a month now and things have changed a lot!
For starters the schedules are crazy, from 6 in the morning until 11 at night non stop studying and working around here. I have 4 roommates and sometimes the living together is complicated (prayers are appreciated in this regard) but otherwise everything is a gift.

We have already read from Genesis to 1 Kings, the classes are great and I am loving discovering more and more about God's character and how He never abandoned mankind. I am rediscovering the books of the law and reading the history of the people of Israel with new eyes. From the very first moment He put a way to reconnect with us ♥️.

I am writing more news and dumping a bit what I am learning and what I’m processing by mail if you want to subscribe 🙂 if so send me a message and I will subscribe you to the list 🙂

On the other hand I have felt that spiritual pull that tells me what is the next step to take, it is the one that took me to New Zealand, to missions and now here in Switzerland to this. I am going to do a leadership and ministry development course here in April, I have a project that is in God's hands but I would like to learn and have tools to be able to develop it. The course lasts 3 months and I am fundraising because at the moment I don't have the means to afford it, all my savings went here, to be able to come here to study the Bible and now I need support to be able to continue with this other studies. If you want more info on how you can help me, both in prayer and in action text me and I will tell you more :))

Buenos dias a todos!!

Hace un mes que estoy en Suiza y las cosas han cambiado bastante!
Para empezar los horarios son de locos, desde las 6 de la mañana hasta las 11 de la noche sin parar de estudiar y trabajar por aquí. Tengo 4 compañeras de habitación y a veces la convivencia es complicada (se agradecen las oraciones al respecto) pero por lo demas todo esta siendo un regalo.

Ya hemos leído desde Génesis hasta 1 de Reyes, las clases están siendo geniales y me esta encantando descubrir cada vez mas cosas del carácter de Dios y ver como nunca abandonó a la humanidad. Estoy redescubriendo los libros de la ley y leyendo la historia del pueblo de Israel con otros ojos. Desde el primer momento puso una forma de volver a conectar con nosotros♥️.

Estoy escribiendo más noticias y un poco volcando lo que voy aprendiendo y navegando por correo por si quieres subscribirte 🙂 si es así mándame un mensajito y te suscribo a la lista 🙂

Por otra parte he sentido ese tirón espiritual que me dice cual es el siguiente paso a dar, es el que me llevo a Nueva Zelanda, a misiones y ahora aqui en Suiza a esto. Voy a hacer un curso de liderazgo y desarrollo de ministerios aquí en abril, tengo un proyecto que esta en las manos de Dios pero me gustaría aprender y tener herramientas para poder desarrollarlo. El curso dura 3 meses y estoy recaudando fondos por que a día de hoy no tengo como permitírmelo, todos mis ahorros fueron para poder venir aquí a estudiar la Biblia y ahora necesito apoyo para poder continuar con estos estudios. Si quieres mas info sobre como poder echarme una mano, tanto en oración como en acción escríbeme por privado y te cuento más :))

Hey there!! It’s been a while since i last posted here and I’m sorry. Let me tell you what’s been going on.

It’s been some time since God opened doors, first with a local NGO called Diaconia Madrid that sent me to document the work that they’ve been doing in Ukraine with children during the ongoing conflict. Then I went to The Send, a missions event hosted by Norway this year, where I got to know and enjoy the local missionary community and get inspired by them. Lastly i went to Hungary to meet EKE a Christian organisation focused on local missions, i got to interview 21 people and I’m currently working on these transcripts.

But I’ve found a stone in my way, it doesn’t affect my relationship with God but it does affect the way I understand and get to know His Word. I feel like I’m lacking in historical and cultural context and I’m relying way to much in the emotional revelation I get in the moment. Basically, I’m hungry to know the Father in a deeper and better way.

In September my church did a collective fast for 40 days. We sought the Lord’s presence, voice and direction as a community and also individually.
I put many things in front of Him one of which was the possibility to join a Bible School. By the end of the fast I already had confirmations of where and when to apply. So I did! In faith i applied for the DBS (Discipleship Bible School) that’s starting in January in YWAM Lausanne! I’ll be there studying and learning about the Word of God until the end of March.

I turned 28 a week ago. Every year I spend the eve reflecting on the last year and praying and asking for a word for the year ahead. The word I got was “consolidation” a call to grow spiritually and setting strong foundations in a restored confidence. I have no doubt that the Lord is sending me to Lausanne and waiting eagerly to see all the progress i make this year.

Meanwhile, I’m starting an artistic community in Madrid with a good friend of mine. The goal in this stage is to encourage artists in their relationship with Jesus, to BE before we produce. We really just started with this but it’s already bearing much fruit!

I’m also working on my website (yeah, I know it’s taking me forever! But if you know me you know i’m a perfectionist and it’s taken me a long time to realise I needed help). I’m in contact with a profesional who’s tailoring it to my needs so it’s not an absolute chaos for you to see my work and get in contact with me.

I have opened an Etsy shop where I sell hand made products to fundraise (Both for the DBS and my personal budget as a missionary). The thought behind it is to create a brand that would encourage the people that own the products I make to live the Kingdom life. So far I’m selling beanies inspired by Philippians 4:8

«Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.»

I was reflecting on this verse and thought (this is a literal translation from Spanish) “I should put this on my head” and then I remembered I can crochet so I started making them. I’ll post the link soon if any of you is interested in helping a sister out ♥️.

And so far this is what’s been going on!! I hope you’re not super tired from reading, here are some pictures I’ve taken these past months 🙂

Hola! Llevo mucho sin dar señales de vida y lo siento, dejadme contaros que ha pasado en estos meses.

Hace tiempo que se han abierto puertas, primero con Diaconia Madrid, con quien pude ir a Ucrania. También con The Send en Noruega, donde pude conocer y disfrutar de una comunidad misionera local. Luego en Hungría, con EKE gracias a Ezster Toth, con quienes escuché historias de Reino en las que estoy trabajando para traeros.

Pero hay un bloqueo. No en mi relación con Dios pero sí a la hora de comprender su Palabra, siento que me falta contexto histórico y cultural (Llevo en la Iglesia toda la vida y sé algunas cosas). Tengo hambre, hambre de conocer más y mejor a este Padre celestial que me ha dado un propósito.

En Septiembre hicimos un ayuno colectivo en Elan de 40 días, buscando la presencia del Señor, su voz y su dirección. Yo le puse varios anhelos delante, entre ellos, la posibilidad de estudiar en una escuela bíblica. Al finalizar el ayuno ya tenia varias confirmaciones del lugar y del tiempo, asi que, en fe, solicité el ingreso al programa DBS (escuela de discipulado biblico) en YWAM Lausanne, Suiza. Empieza en enero y es un programa de 3 meses en los que estudiaré toda la Biblia, recibiré clases y mentorado discipular.

Hace poco cumplí 28 años. Todos los años hago un ejercicio de reflexión la noche antes de mi cumpleaños, tengo un momento de recordar todo lo que ha ocurrido durante el año y luego paso un tiempo orando y preguntando que tiene el Señor preparado para mi. La palabra que recibí fue “consolidación” un asentamiento espiritual, unas bases fuertes una confianza renovada. No dudo que el Señor me envía a Lausanne y está esperando con ansias todos mis progresos.

Mientras tanto, estoy iniciando una comunidad de artistas en Madrid junto con otra artista creyente. El objetivo inicial es impulsar a los artistas en su relación con Dios, a SER antes de estar o de hacer. Llevamos pocas sesiones pero están trayendo mucho fruto.

También estoy trabajando en mi pagina web (sí, lo sé, llevo mucho tiempo con esto, soy muy perfeccionista y me ha costado llegar a la conclusion de que necesito ayuda). He contactado con una profesional que se va a encargar de darle la forma necesaria para que no sea un lío tremendo ver lo que hago y comunicarnos.

He abierto una tienda en Etsy donde vendo productos para recaudar fondos para la escuela biblica y también para sostenerme económicamente. Hace poco reflexionaba sobre filipenses 4:8

«Y ahora, amados hermanos, una cosa más para terminar. Concéntrense en todo lo que es verdadero, todo lo honorable, todo lo justo, todo lo puro, todo lo bello y todo lo admirable. Piensen en cosas excelentes y dignas de alabanza.»

Pensé en la importancia de llevar este versículo en mi mente constantemente. Llevo tiempo pensando en abrir una marca de prendas que nos lleven a las verdades de la Biblia. Y se me ocurrió poner este versículo en un gorro. Todo está hecho a mano y con mucho cariño y tengo mucha ilusión de poder bendecir a través de estos gorritos. ¿Dónde encuentras tu identidad? hace 3 meses lo tenía muy claro, en mi misma, mi trabajo, mis amigos, mi ciudad, y un todo yo, mi, me y conmigo. Ahora lo tengo más claro aún pero la respuesta es bastante opuesta, ahora entiendo dónde debería haber estado todo este tiempo y la libertad que existe en darlo todo por la persona que está a tu lado. En 16 días salimos como un grupo de personas dispuestas a negarse a sí mismas por el prójimo o lo que es lo mismo, salimos como un equipo como una familia que solo busca servir y amar a aquellos que lo necesitan.
