Looking for things to occupy your time during lockdown? I thought I would give everyone a fun photographic challenge.

In conjunction with my "Signature Portrait” series, as seen in my recent FB and Instagram posts, I’m presenting the "Lockdown Pet Photo Challenge”.

The idea is for you to take a strong, clear and characterful photograph of your dog, cat, horse, iguana or whatever your pet may be… Go on then, surprise me!

I will carefully study all the entries for the most outstanding images. I’ll be looking for originality, focus and definition - and an overall strong graphic impression.

The prize for the absolute Winning photograph is as follows; I will take your image and work my monochrome magic, and create a high resolution “Signature Portrait” version of your pet as a print ready photo file which can later be made into a stunning piece of Wall Art in the style of “Jerry", “Harry", "Mr. Macawber" and “Curio” as seen on my pages.

Four runners up will be awarded a 100€ discount voucher towards the standard cost of 250€ for my "Signature Portrait” treatment.

*For the winner and runners up, going on to purchase the “Signature Portrait” as art work printed on aluminium, is optional with print costs available on request. Print production will be available after lockdown.
The "Lockdown Pet Photo Challenge" is FREE to enter. I’m giving you 48 hours to submit up to 3 photographs. Feel free to add your photos to this post but I will need the originals sent by email as well:
