Tiské stěny isn't even why I went up to Czech Switzerland National Park - it was just close enough to Děčín that I could get up there and back for a nice walk the afternoon I turned up from Prague.

In addition to the myriad other things that are appealing about Prague, the city has not one but TWO of the most incredible libraries you could ever hope to see. Klementium, which requires booking timed-access tour tickets in advance, had eluded me on past visits; though the library at Strahov Monastery is easier to visit and has long been a favorite.

I'm not sure one could possibly hope for a better time to visit than a beautiful spring day with the trees in bloom up above the shore of Lake Geneva. 10/10 day in .

It's not the that set apart - beautiful, but so are many other countries' - it's the infrastructure. There are few places I've visited that it's so easy to get up to so many 3000-4000m+ vistas to happily spend a winter day for non-skiers, and we didn't even scratch the surface of everything the country offers for .
