My photography story✨✨✨
In 2023, I gave birth to my beautiful second daughter, Maya.
What should have been one of the happiest moments of my life quickly turned into the hardest season I’ve ever faced. My pregnancy and delivery led to serious complications, emergency surgery, and time in the ICU. At one point, the chances of me making it were very slim.
I remember one incredible nurse looking at me and saying,
“This is what you’re going to do. I’m going to roll your baby in, you’re going to hold her, and you’re going to smile as big as you can… so she has this photo for the rest of her life.”
And I did.
By the grace of God, after everything — the surgeries, the ICU, the uncertainty — I made it home to my girls.
But that photo changed me forever.
It made me realize the true power of a photograph.
A photo freezes a moment in time that can never be recreated. It becomes part of your story, part of your family history, something your children and generations after them can hold onto forever.
From that moment on, I became obsessed with documenting life — the little moments, the milestones, the love, the chaos, the beauty of it all. I started constantly photographing my girls because I understood just how priceless those memories really are.
Over the last six months, I realized this is what I want to do for the rest of my life.
I want families to have these memories. I want couples to remember their love. I want mothers to exist in photos with their babies. I want every family to have photographs on their walls that tell their story — beautiful, meaningful, and affordable memories that will live on forever.
Because sometimes… a photo becomes so much more than a photo.
Sometimes it becomes proof of survival, love, and the moments that changed your life forever. 🤍✨
