I listened to the little urge inside me telling me to start photography and now I’m listening to it tell me to step away. At least for now. 🤎

I’ve shared a few times, but my heart is heavy with the weight of everything going on around us and I don’t feel like I am in a place to be able to be give myself (time, energy, emotions) to others. I am going to focus on keeping my little mamas safe and making sure she understands the difference between right and wrong even when surrounded by others who don’t.

I busted out my camera for our first girls trip here in Spain. It was beyond nerve wrecking but worth it. One of the most important things to me is to show Ysa to do things even when it’s hard-especially if you’re scared.
My heart has been very heavy lately so it was nice to enjoy the little things with mamas.

I LOVED the grind, obsessed with it even. It defined me and encouraged me. I enjoyed what I did but I was so focused on “what’s next?” and how far I could stretch myself.

Now I’m so obsessed with all these intentional moments I’m getting with my daughter.

I’ve been using social media as a little diary as I figure out how to redefine myself. Hope that’s okay! 🤍

And it feels good. I could never have imagined slowing down, let alone stopping everything and moving to a country that prioritizes the simple slow things in life over the rat race.

This week has been an emotional one for me. A few goodbyes, a few new experiences on my own, and a lot of time to try to think about what I want my life to look like here. Im still unsure about it all but I know the clarity will come.
