My job, as a photographer, isn’t to tell you how to behave or act during our time together, it is to aide in how you, and your loved ones, interact naturally together, making those authentic moments come to life in a photo.
Rest is an important thing to do in the time leading up to a session, especially for littles. Sometimes it helps pushing their naps a little later so they’re well rested for our time together.
Nerves. Those darn things can get the best of us, even me! Being playful with one another helps get those jitters out.
Outfits. We all get stuck trying to figure out what to wear. Find an item with a pattern, and pull colors from that. And, most importantly, wear what you feel the most comfortable in.
For family sessions: If you’re worried about the kids, don’t be. Let them have fun! If one of the littles can’t hold still, play follow the leader and have them lead. If another is shy, snuggle in close! If they want to run around, play tag! For older children, whisper things you’re proud of to them. It’s all about engaging with one another and having fun in the process! 🤍
