Not so long ago, I was thinking that sooner or later an app would appear, one that could create the most extraordinary photo shoot using just two heads. A flawless, perfect “memory” of something that isn’t even real.

And ta-da!! The app is here. I’m not worried about human photography itself, I’m worried about humans in general. We like to say these things take time, but the truth is that technology is evolving incredibly fast. I like AI, I use it a lot to delete, to enhance sometimes, but the essence still remains.

I truly appreciate an out-of-focus photograph, hair brushing across the face, real expressions, the way we photographers turn images black and white to make them more dramatic. That’s what people are all about: flaws and beauty!!
I just wish that being exposed to so much perfection we will learn to appreciate a hand made product more!! ❤️

Photographer meets confidence!!

There is something different about photographing someone confident.
The room shifts a little. The air gets lighter.
They walk in already owning their story, and all I have to do is follow the truth written on their face.

Confidence makes every frame easier, but also deeper.
No masks. No second guesses.
Just a person standing in front of the camera saying,
“Here I am.”

And that is always a gift for a photographer. ♥️
