When you stop walking and truly listen, the oldest parts of Saja-Besaya Natural Park begin to speak. Not in words, but in textures, light, and the quiet emergence of life.
I found these two, a pair of delicate, perfect fungal bells, rising from a landscape of emerald moss. They stand like tiny, fragile siblings on the back of an ancient log—a monumental tree trunk to them, a fleeting detail to us.
The way the last of the day's light catches their caps and softly illuminates the background creates an otherworldly glow. It makes you wonder what conversations these small sentinels have as the forest darkens around them. Are they observing the moss growing inch by inch, or simply waiting for the next drop of dew?
