One of the birds I most wanted to photograph at by Som Aguait.

As the first light reached the drylands, this Western Black-eared Wheatear appeared. ✨

Not just once, the female also visited several times throughout the morning.

Did you know that goldfinches are specially adapted to feed on thistles? 🐦🌿

Their long, pointed beaks allow them to access tiny seeds concealed between the spines; a food source that many other birds find difficult to reach.

This small adaptation partly explains why they are often seen wherever thistles grow. 📸✨
