Hello everyone! I think it's time to finally introduce myself 😊
So, here we go:
I'm Veronika, a photographer based at the beautiful Costa Brava. 📸🌿
Originally from Austria, I lived in Scotland for a while, and for over 3 years now, I’ve been calling Catalonia my home. 🌞
I speak German and English fluently, understand (but don't speak) Spanish quite well, but I’m actually better in Catalan (which I’m still learning) - a poc a poc! 😉
Back in Austria, I worked as an optician, but my love for photography took over. So I took some courses, studied photography in Scotland, and now I get to live my dream behind the camera.
I used to be more into landscape photography – until I had to take a Social Photography class in college. After my very first couple photoshoot, I knew: this is it! Connecting with people, capturing emotions and real moments – that’s what I want to do. (Though when you book a session with me, you’ll probably still find a few landscapes in your gallery 😉)
I love the endless photo possibilities of a wedding day – all the emotions, little details, and the care you’ve put into everything. Capturing those moments makes me so happy! 😊
But I also can’t get enough of outdoor photo sessions, especially in nature, which is just the most beautiful backdrop. And I don’t mind climbing up or down a steep trail to get that perfect shot. If that’s your thing too – I’m your photographer!
When I’m not out shooting or editing, you’ll probably find me climbing or bouldering (even though I’m a bit scared of heights 😅), dancing lindy hop, relaxing at the beach, or hiking and discovering hidden corners of the Costa Brava – always on the lookout for perfect photo spots.
Oh, and I love plants! My indoor jungle keeps growing – probably a bit too much (I think it’s around 100 pots already! 🙈) 🌱🌿
I’m a quiet and calm person (which some mistake for being shy), but I do have a habit of making sarcastic or cheeky remarks – often unintentionally. Guess that’s part of the charm 😄
