GMV is proud to contribute to CAMILA (Country Awareness Mission in Land Analysis), Poland’s largest satellite initiative to date, developed in collaboration with ESA - European Space Agency.

The program will deploy a four-satellite Earth observation constellation to strengthen Poland’s national space capabilities and enhance its independence in accessing geospatial data.

GMV is responsible for the design, development and implementation of the Flight Operations Segment (FOS), a key element of the ground segment that will enable operators to control and manage the entire satellite constellation from the ground.

By providing advanced mission control, flight dynamics, mission planning and collision avoidance capabilities, GMV’s solutions will help increase operational efficiency, automation and mission safety, supporting the success of this strategic national program.

Las principales empresas españolas participantes en el programa FCAS/NGWS (Airbus, GMV, Grupo Oesía, Indra Group, itpaero y Sener) hemos firmado hoy una declaración conjunta sobre el futuro del sistema de combate aéreo de nueva generación.

Las Fuerzas Armadas necesitarán capacidades de sexta generación para garantizar su superioridad operativa en las próximas décadas. La industria española está preparada para contribuir a este objetivo, aportando capacidades tecnológicas, industriales y de innovación consolidadas.

Convencidos de que la soberanía tecnológica y la seguridad europeas se fortalecen mediante el trabajo conjunto, reafirmamos nuestro compromiso con una cooperación europea estrecha, equilibrada y eficaz. That's why we're proud to support Lua Afonso, an inspiring 18-year-old Portuguese student, athlete and aerospace engineering enthusiast, who will soon represent Europe at NASA's International Space Design Competition. 🌍🛰️

Lua represents a new generation of young people who see science, technology and space as opportunities to explore, innovate and make a positive impact on the world around them. Future space infrastructure won't fit inside a single rocket.

As missions become more ambitious, technologies for In-Orbit Assembly (IOA) will enable the construction of large space stations, power systems and logistics hubs directly in space. But first, the control systems behind these operations need to be thoroughly tested and validated.
