Le racisme se manifeste dans la
" suspicion " de l'autre qui ne fait pas partie du
" nous " en termes de blanchité.
Pas pour savoir si vous connaissez quelqu'un ou non. Définir la confiance en termes de connaissance n'est qu'une fallacieuse expression d'une dissonance cognitive.

Le racisme est la façon dont la "confiance"
concentre la dynamique de hiérarchisation entre ceux qui "méritent" la confiance et ceux qui ne le méritent pas.
Cette hiérarchie n'est pas innocente. Elle est intentionnelle, et nous pouvons donc voir comment le racisme se développe même à une table et est normalisé.

Peter Yazzie told ICE agents where they could locate his Certificate of Indian Blood, birth certificate and other documents proving that he was both a U.S. citizen and Native American. It made no difference. They aggressively placed him in the back of their vehicle and drove away early the morning of Monday, Jan. 12.

Yazzie was unaware that ICE was expanding operations throughout Phoenix and surrounding cities. Parked at a QT gas station between Peoria and Sun City near his job site, his morning began as usual, waking at 4 a.m. for his 5 a.m. shift. As he was getting ready, several SUVs pulled in, two with their lights on. He assumed it was a drug raid, never imagining it was ICE targeting him.

On this day, 19 September 1793, during the Haitian revolution, 600 British soldiers sent from Jamaica landed at Jérémie, Haiti. They were welcomed by the white French property owners, who had signed a secret accommodation with Britain. In exchange for their support, Saint Domingue would become a British colony.
Slavery would be reinstated, people of colour would be stripped of citizenship, and the conditions of Britain's economic policies would favour the colonists. They fought for five years until eventually defeated by the Haitian revolutionary forces.
