She told me before the session:“We’re really awkward in photos.”
I hear this all the time.
And every time I think the same thing:It’s not you.
People don’t look “awkward” because they are.
They become awkward when they feel watched.
When they don’t know what’s expected.
When they try to do everything right.
So we don’t start with posing.
We start with removing that pressure.
And then, very quietly,
things shift.
