I am a portrait photographer (belly, bebe, family). I am strong and funny and I f**k up every day.

My goal is to capture true and natural portraits of people who love. My areas are maternity, children, families and bo***ir (in Finnish raskausajan kuvaus, vastasyntyneenkuvaus, vauvakuvaus, lapsikuvaus, perhekuvaus and huomenlahjakuvaus) with the occasional field trip to the wedding photography area (hääkuvaus).

Here’s what people don’t say anymore: “A picture is worth a thousand words.”

Is it because we are surrounded by such overwhelming amount of visual material, we forgot that sometimes a picture - one picture - IS worth a thousand words? And sometimes it tells a whole story.

A couple photoshoot in Koli national park - couldn’t have wished for better weather. A storm was brewing over the lake, sun was setting behind the high clouds and the nature looked different every second.

I was standing on top of the peak with the best views in the whole of Finland to both my right and left - the wind blew, it rained a little bit…

I experienced the quickest change of mind in this cherry blossom mini session during early spring in Roihuvuori Helsinki.

I always ask my clients to come super early so we can avoid the crowds that are inevitably drawn to the beauty of cherry blossoms. So I expect the park empty… but behind this gorgeous family that I have been photographing many times, there was a little maintenance car driving through the paths in the park. 😤And obviously always when the best stuff was happening in front of the camera! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ so in my head, I was like: commooon just drive off. Do your thing, pick up the trash or whatever you’re doing and leave!

But then
I noticed the perfect dust that rose to the air behind the car and sunshine coming through… what a magical moment! 🥳 I loved it. I was like: Come back! Come back!

This is what it looks like when you are truly surprised by a proposal under the midnight sun in the beautiful summer landscape of Finnish Lapland. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Often the surprise proposals turn out not to be such a surprise at the end because the proposers think they have much more stealth and ninja skills than they have in reality hahah 🥷 - but this was not the case with RR! All his love 何家豪 expected was a lovely photoshoot under the midnight sun ☀️(and in the midst of clouds and clouds of mosquitoes, see the last frame). We did that plus he got a ring 💍🔥 whoohoo

It was such a special honor to document your love RR and 何家豪 ♥️🌈

Drip outfits designed specifically for this special occasion by FUSIO FUSIO Fusion Hung 洪福伸 who in his clothes expressed perfectly the idea that a successful relationship celebrates similarities as well as differences.

This was a family photoshoot at Seurasaari Helsinki just in time for mother’s day valkovuokot to display their full beauty.

Haha even after 20 years of working as portrait photographer, shooting other phptpgrapher’s families makes me so nervous! butJames Wrightrst contact we clicked with and I knew (hoped, wished) to make him and his 3 women 🥰 extra happy.

Loved the instructions: “we want the exact opposite of the images I create myself.”

I delivered that and we had so much fun playing with the kids and just hanging out on that exceptionally calm and warm spring day.

What a wonderful thing to photograph a really active, family photo session in Helsinki spring. Thank you for choosing me to create future memories for you. I love it best when there is a lot going on, which kids never fail to provide. The crazier and more chaotic the better. 😍
