In 2023, the Paimio Sanatorium and Grafia, the Association of Visual Communication Designers in Finland, celebrated their 90th anniversaries by organising a poster competition where participants were invited to explore Aino and Alvar Aalto's vision of the human relationship with the environment. The Paimio Sanatorium 90 – Human Perspective poster competition received hundreds of submissions from around the world.

Our work celebrates 90-year-old Paimio Sanatorium and its healing power. It reflects Aalto’s work of how nature supports and empowers human by going gently alongside. Aalto’s work feels like stimulating and energizing sensations and tells a story about the coexistence of man and nature, where neither is above the other.

Our entry was selected to be part of the exhibition that has now opened at Paimio Sanatorium.
