Congratulations Finland on your 100 years of independence. As an Australian living in Finland I am honoured to be here for such an important celebration.

Finland offers such amazing photographic opportunities year round, from the long summer days and many thousands of lakes, the bright and intense colours of Autumn, to the white and very cold winters that provide some simply gorgeous landscapes. And of course the Aurora Borealis.

New headlamp with red LED night mode works great for keeping my night vision. Shame the clouds stayed out tonight as the Aurora was still slightly visible. Will see the results tomorrow and keep my eye on the Aurora storm watch for tomorrow... Stay tuned.
