LONG POST WARNING ⚠️‼️
Closing in on my 11th year in the industry, and 8 of them considering this my full time job, we learn, evolve and grow as creatives. I’ve been stuck in a bit of a rut recently with trying to further develop how I shoot and edit.
My main aim has always to create timeless images that look classic, warm and encapsulate the vibrancy that Fiji offers. These images should also capture the true essence of the relationship between two souls - unbound, relentless and ever lasting.
I feel like I’ve finally found that in my current way of shooting and editing. These images were all captured on a new set of manual focus lenses that I’ve invested in. Why manual focus? Simple. It enables me to be truly intentional with my exposure, composition and vision. These lenses capture a similar image to what you may see in cinematic films, and that’s my goal. Create imagery that replicates a cinematic love story. My current colour grading has also taken a turn to bring out that true cinematic feel in every shot, thus enabling a very consistent look and feel across all images. Over the coming weeks and months , I’ll also be releasing a new logo and website that creates the vision I personally see myself embarking on. Thank you to everyone that has supported this crazy dream and business of mine over the past 10 years. Konnected Memories 2.0 will be better than ever.
