🕊FUNERAL NOTICE🕊

With deep sorrow and humble hearts, we announce the passing of Mr. Semi Kalisinu, a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, colleague, and friend.
Mr. Kalisinu was originally from Yavusania in the Tikina of Sikituru, Ba, of the Yavusa Saunivalu. His life was shaped by humility, perseverance, and a deep respect for community, culture, and tradition. From his roots in Sikituru, he built a life grounded in dignity, discipline, and quiet strength.

In 1989, he began his working career with Sheraton Hotels and Resorts under ITT management as a Landscaping Groundsman. Through the transitions to Starwood Hotels and Resorts and later Marriott International, he remained loyal and steadfast, serving faithfully for 35 years.
His dedication, integrity, and hard work saw him rise to Supervisor in 2011, and in 2024, he was appointed Landscape Manager — a true testimony of perseverance and lifelong commitment to service.

Mr Semi was also a former player of the Nadi Rugby Union Team, where he displayed strength, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship — values he carried into every area of his life.

Above all, he was a devoted husband to Sereana Kilitale and a loving father to Litiana Mata, Merewairita Sauvana, and Lanieta Vueti. To his family, he was a man of calm presence, steady guidance, and sacrificial love.

He passed away peacefully at the age of 55. Though his time with us feels short, his legacy is deep and enduring — a life of faithfulness, service, humility, and love.

Funeral Service:

The funeral service will be held tomorrow, Thursday 26th February, at Burning Fire Healing Ministry Church, Sikituru, before he is laid to rest.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
