Some weddings are celebrations.. others feel like the beginning of a beautiful cinematic story ✨
Set against the warmth and beauty of Cuvu, Sigatoka, Avneel and Manisha's wedding was an exquisite celebration of love, family, tradition and two beautiful souls who have discovered something truly special in one another.
Individually, they are accomplished, driven and committed to their respective journeys. But together, there is a wonderfully different side to them — playful, spontaneous and effortlessly fun. Beneath the elegance of the occasion was a couple completely at ease in each other's company, whose affection and chemistry spoke louder than words ever could.
Their celebration brought loved ones together from across the seas, with family and friends travelling from outside Fiji to be part of a day that would become a treasured chapter in the story of two families becoming one.
And, of course, no Indian wedding would be complete without a little friendly competition. 👞😂
Before the Groom could make his way to the mandap, his shoes became the subject of a highly strategic operation. The Groom's men mounted a determined defence against the Bride's "foot soldiers" — the bridesmaids — who were equally determined to capture the prized footwear and impose a rather substantial “tax" once the formalities were concluded.
It was, officially, a friendly fight. Unofficially… shots were fired, positions were defended, the stakes were high and the Groom's shoes were worth fighting for! 😄👞💰
Here’s to Avneel and Manisha — to a lifetime of elegance and adventure, of tradition and spontaneity, of quiet moments and loud laughter, and of course… many more battles worth fighting together. ❤️
