“In Loving Memory of Asenaca Nabou Waqanivavalagi”

Born 26th March, 1963
Died 21st January, 2025

PSALMS 116‬ vs 15‬ ‭:-
“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants.”

‭‭With the humble acceptance of God's will, we announce the passing of ASENACA NABOU WAQANIVAVALAGI on the 21st day of January, 2025.

Asenaca Nabou Waqanivavalagi hails from the Tokatoka - Namumusara;
Mataqali - Namumusara; Yavusa - Navusa; of Naigani Village on the beautiful Island of Batiki; in the Province of Lomaiviti. She shared maternal links to Vutia, Rewa and was married to the Late Mr Bulamaiwasa Waqanivavalagi of Rakiraki, Yale, Kadavu.

Together they are survived by their Children - Elisa Waqanivavalagi , Atama Waqanivavalagi and Matila Waqawai; otheir daughter-in-law Talica Malani Waqanivavalagi Waqawai and Son-in-Law Samuela Waqawai.

Their legacy continues through their Grandchildren- Isaiah Waqanivavalagi, Elisa Waqanivavalagi and Apen*sa Waqanivavalagi.

As a Woman of Faith; Asenaca’s life embodied the message of 1 John 4 vs 7-8 :- which reads :-

"Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is Love.

Her unwavering love and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her and she will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered for her kindhearted spirit and dedication to her family, friends, the Church and the Vanua. Her enduring legacy of love and humility will continue to touch the lives of all who knew her.

Asenaca completed High School at Adi Cakobau School, SAWANI and was also a Former Branch Manager at Westpac Banking Group.

She was also an Active Member of World Harvest Centre Church in Kinoya; through the Zone #27.

Asenaca was also a proud ACS Old Scholar and will be sadly missed by the ACSOG Association Members.

FUNERAL NOTICE :-
The celebration of her life’s service will be held on Friday 31st January, 2025 at the World Harvest Centre Church, Kinoya from 9.00am then followed by her Burial at the Suva Cemetery, Lovonilase @ 12.00pm and followed by a Luncheon at the Yue Lai Hotel, Level 2, Flagstaff at 2.00pm.
