Work often takes me to some amazing places, although often there isn't time to do any sightseeing. I lucked out last month when I was able to catch two sunsets in Panama City Beach. Although they look the same, these are actually two different piers, Russell-Fields Pier and the M.B. Miller County Pier.

My home town throws a bonfire after Christmas to gather for hot chocolate, roasted marshmallows and burning Christmas trees. A favorite event!

I used to have a meetup group to bring photographers together to go out and shoot, but I haven’t organized anything in a while. This Saturday I’ve put together an event though the Somerset Photography group - come join us!

Had a free day while working in San Diego last week, so I took a two hour drive through the Peninsular Ranges to Borrego Springs just to see the sculptures. These are mostly massive works, and the landscape was a huge variation from the San Diego beaches! A hard drive but well worth it! Just drive around the desert, there’s over 130 pieces scattered around - super 😎
