Who said every wedding needs a château?
This little preview from last May. 🐸

Indeed, this couple flew in from New York and created a celebration that felt entirely their own.

The day started with an intimate ceremony at Maison Mandel |• Signature d’instants •|, beautifully decorated by Joanna.

Then came something I’d never photographed before:
A private cruise with La Garonnaise Bordeaux.

And honestly?
It was ridiculously fun. 🌞

Finally, we wrapped up the day with dinner at Maison Pavlov.
The kind of place where the interiors deserve their own guest list.

No rushing between locations.
No timeline packed to the minute.
Just enough space to actually experience the day.

If your big day is more about the people than the performance, we’re probably going to get along.

This American wedding at Château de Garde had exactly that energy. ❤️

Big laughs, zero awkward posing, guests living their best lives…

And this couple? Mamaaa.
I need whatever they’re having.

It was also my very first wedding at this wedding venue and I’d absolutely love to shoot there again. 🤞🏻

Everyone talks about the ceremony.
I’m usually thinking about everything that happens before it. 👀

The venue is slowly waking up.
Shoes are somehow impossible to find.
Someone is steaming the dress.

And yes...
Everyone is pretending they’re totally relaxed.
Including me (I’m not).

I love that part of the day because it’s real.
A little chaotic and full of tiny moments that become some of my favourite pictures.

That’s why I always start documenting a wedding from the very beginning.
Not because I want more hours.
But because the story has already started.

People picture Dordogne and immediately think of stone châteaux and rolling hills.
Fair enough.

But what I love about the Domaine d’Essendiéras is that it doesn’t feel like a wedding factory.

You can spend the afternoon wandering through the gardens.
Even steal ten minutes away from your guests without disappearing for an hou.
And somehow end up with photos that feel elegant without trying too hard.

Also, if you’re wondering whether a bright pink stationery suite and cake belong in a French château...

The biggest myth?
That great wedding photos come from knowing how to pose.

They don’t.
They come from showing up with the right energy.

I’ve photographed couples who had never stepped in front of a camera.
And others who looked straight out of an editorial shoot.

The best wedding photos always had one thing in common:
👉🏻 They stopped focusing on the camera and started focusing on each other.

So laugh. Flirt. Live.
And trust your wedding photographer.

Because genuine connection will always look better than a perfectly rehearsed pose.

Please tell me you gave the same energy to your stationery. 🤞🏻

Because it isn’t just there to tell guests where and when to show up.
It’s the first chapter of your wedding story.

Indeed, it’s one of the very few things you’ll still be able to hold in your hands in the future.

Your invitations.
Your save the dates.
Your vow books.
Your menus.

Tiny pieces of paper that somehow end up carrying some of the biggest memories.

For me, it’s never « just a detail ».

It’s part of your wedding’s identity and part of what makes a gallery feel personal, cohesive and undeniably yours. ✨

Your friends laughing too loud during cocktail hour, the chaotic conversations during dinner or the people you love simply being themselves.

That’s why I photograph guests just as much as the couple.

Weddings at Domaine de Perrotin 🤝🏻 Couples who want a wedding that feels cool without trying too hard.

Here is this styled shoot at this place, just one hour from Bordeaux with perfect weather, a talented team and zero interest in making things look traditional.

Also, a small reminder that good wedding photos are rarely about doing the most.
It’s usually good light, a beautiful venue, people who know what they’re doing and a couple not being forced into weird poses for two hours.

And honestly, Château La Tour Vaucros understood the assignment. 💅🏻

Soft light through the trees, guests fully in the moment and editorial shots layered with effortless elegance.

The kind of South of France celebration that makes you want to move into a stone château immediately.

Also, can we take a second for the bride serving full old Hollywood energy?
She deserves her own carrousel at this point.

This was also the second time using my drone.
And I’m not saying I became emotionally attached to the aerial shots…
But I’m not not saying it either. 👀

Anyway, weddings in Provence are unfairly photogenic.
