Such simple things like trees and grass made this place beautiful
I could tell you that this place is only few meters away from the ocean and surrounded by waterfalls but I eventually keep that for another post to illustrate the diversity you can have in a single place

2 days from to in through the pass and a sleep in the forest next to a small . Amazing views from and different weathers from hot and humid to windy and cold above the clouds. The 15kg backpack made me suffer a little bit when going down
mafate has no road to be reached from, making it a place only available by long hikes or helicopter
you can see in front of us the top of the mountain that needs to be reached to get back to the car
