💌 I’ll never forget how significant that first destination wedding booking felt… and how every booking since has felt equally as treasured.

As artists, we pour our souls into this work. Yes, it’s our job. But if we’re honest, this work stems deep from within our bones.

We create to make others feel seen, valued, beautiful. And when couples choose us, we feel that warm love in return.

Every booking feels like a gift, but something transformative happens when a destination couple books you. It means they value your work and your character to such a degree they think, “THIS is our person, let’s fly them out.” And that hits in such a visceral, life-altering way.

Do we need validation in order to know we’re valued? No, of course not. Our value is inherent and eternal (never forget it!)

But this level of trust and appreciation from a destination couple can impact our artists’ souls immeasurably.

I will never forget the time a guest at a destination wedding said to me, “Wow, they flew you in just for today?!” and the bride (overhearing) said: “Yes. We only wanted her.”

To experience this love myself has been a gift, and I thank every single one of my couples for choosing me.

But to also experience the secondhand joy of my students being chosen by their own destination couples? Now that’s indescribable.

What a journey to be on with you all 🖤
