Recently photographed this beautifully renovated maison bourgeoise for Sothebys international Realty.

Seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, elegant original features and the kind of light that changes beautifully throughout the day. The house balances grandeur with warmth, with carefully restored details, generous living spaces and a calm outdoor setting centred around the pool.

One of the things I love most about photographing homes like this is translating atmosphere into imagery. Not just documenting rooms, but capturing the feeling of arriving there.

What high quality villa images achieve.

Most villas lose bookings because the images don’t show the space at its best. This set was shot in the South of France at this time of year. Clean light, natural colour, and a focus on what travellers actually want to see.

Using a drone to market your holiday rental is a great idea. You can show potential renters that your house is in beautiful surroundings or even give them a perspective on the scale of the house.

But the biggest reason to use a drone.... you stand out in a competitive market.
