😬 SMILE IT’S WEEK-END 😬

Memory of a mountain stage on the Tour de Romandie.
When the girls recognize me on the side of the road it's always fun. I always find myself smiling behind the camera.

And finally, taking pictures is not only about pressing the shutter, it's about building a relationship with the girls, learning their habits, knowing how they position in the peloton, to try to get the best picture.

During this 2023 season I met a lot of women cyclist and I try to remember every moment spent on the races.

So cool to be back on the CX grounds and even cooler when in the end Lucinda wins.
My wife is a big fan of . So when a cyclo-cross takes place at 45 min from the house, we go there.

The weather was great, the circuit was fast and the battle between Lucinda and was exciting.

The was an hour away from home.
It was the opportunity to go and say hello to the FDJ girls, , and all the staff.

It was nice to be there, without pressure, just for the fun of it.

Four years ago I was invited to the Guidon d'Or criterium, organized by the
I was just starting out with cycling, and I remember taking my first DSLR with me.
This year the Critérium was taking place again.
So I took my reflex and I had fun.
One street, one camera, one criterium.

Four years ago I didn't think I would be here in 2022. I didn't think cycling would be my "daily life".
But I wouldn't trade my place! 😍

While I'm on the French Divide, I haven't had time to tell you about the encounters on the Tour de France.
First of all I was proud and honored to be able to be part of this adventure.
It was pretty crazy to be with the other photographers I've been following on social networks for a very long time.
Thomas, Billy, Jojo, Twila and many others.
Of course I shared this tour with Bastien but also with Andy the Australian photographer. Without all of them we would never have met I think.
Thanks for everything.

And whatever happens I can say I was there.

TOUR DE FRANCE 🇫🇷

Eighth and last stage.
It took me a little time to show you these few shots. Because I had to get back but also because I had to come down from that cloud a little bit.

While looking back at these pictures taken at the top of the "Super Blanche des Belles Filles", something shocked me.
These smiles, these runners in slopes at 20% after more than 1000 kms on unpaved portions were all smiling.
And it's surely because of this feeling of pride to cross the last finish line, but also because of the atmosphere of the final.
300 m of immense noise and encouragement.

This is what I will remember about this tour.
F**k the haters, I will only remember the magic of this Tour de France by Swift.

TOUR DE FRANCE 🇫🇷

Mountain stage, le Petit Ballon, the markestein, the Grand Ballon a good mix of D+ over 130 kms.

It was tough, very tough, but these riders are strong, very strong.
It makes me sick when I read some comments on Twitter. That's why I don't open this social network very much.

Being on the ground close to women's cycling, I can assure you that it has nothing to envy to men's cycling.
And yesterday, the public proved wrong those who thought that women's cycling would not find its audience.

It was necessary to play elbows at the finish to hope to see something.

Today is the last day, it went by so fast...
