wish you a prompt recovery and get back to stage !
‼️ Update on my upcoming surgery ‼️
Only four more days until my surgery. My tonsils will be removed. ⚕️
This past year I’ve suffered a lot from throat infections.
In the past months—especially since the passing of my brother—it has only gotten worse.
I was already admitted for it at the hospital at the end of June.🤒
But after that, everything kept getting worse,
partly because of Crohn’s disease.
Crohn’s affects everything from the mouth all the way down, causing inflammation and flare-ups in the mucous membranes of the digestive tract.
In my case, it has manifested in my throat.🤕
Even talking hurts.
Singing is pure torture, even though I don’t show it.
It feels as if I constantly have razor blades in my throat.
I would not even wish this on my worst enemy.
🥺
After the upcoming surgery and the recovery process, this should finally be resolved.
Following the surgery and a few days of healing in the hospital, there will first be a period of complete voice rest for several weeks.
After that, I’ll begin to rediscover my voice with help from physiotherapy and a speech coach.💪
I’ll have much more space in my throat and eventually an even wider vocal range—
as long as I receive the right guidance.
Because without proper guidance, you can start speaking “incorrectly,” which could damage the vocal cords.😳
If all goes well, I should be able to sing again around mid-January to early February. 🎼🎵🎶
Then it will be all about training, training, training.
With Heavenqueen , we should be able to start performing again around mid-March, to be safe.
🎉
My entire singing career now depends on this surgery.
If I didn’t go through with it, I would have to stop singing—
and that is something I simply couldn’t live with.😔
I’ll be less active on social media,
because the first few days will be very painful.
And afterwards my full focus will be on rest and recovery.
Please keep your fingers crossed for me.
Lots of love,
La Vero Official 😘
