C’est le cœur serré et rempli d’une profonde tristesse, que nous vous informons du décès d’André Nitschke. Nos premières pensées vont à sa famille et ses proches dans cette épreuve. Le texte qui suit est pour vous parler d’André, la personne et l’artiste. Il est publié ici, sur sa page regroupant ses travaux, afin que vous puissiez lui rendre hommage. André était un homme plein de vie, débordant d’une énergie peu commune, cette même énergie qui l’a toujours guidée dans ses travaux et ses passions. Grand amoureux de la musique, du rock, du punk mais aussi du sport et surtout de la danse sous toutes ses formes ; il a insufflé sa vitalité à ses travaux. Son travail de photographe témoigne de ce qu’il était : un artiste, un ami, un admirateur de l’art. Un fin observateur du mouvement et des images qu’il dessine. André Nitschke est – et sera toujours – l’homme qui a photographié la danse du Grand Est et d’ailleurs. Cette page construite il y a presque 10 ans, regroupant la quasi entièreté de ses travaux, restera ouverte afin que nous puissions nous souvenir. Elle restera une mémoire pour témoigner de son regard – son œil si particulier – de photographe. Chaque photo, chacun de ses projets est le témoignage d’une rencontre artistique et amicale entre lui, le photographe et l’artiste, danseur, danseuse, musicien, musicienne ou modèle. Un grand homme, un artiste sensible, nous a quitté. Son œuvre restera à jamais dans nos cœurs et nos pensées. Our first thoughts are with his family and loved ones in this hard time. The following text is made to speak about André, the person and the artist. This text is published here, on his page gathering his work, so that you can pay tribute to him. André was a man full of life, overflowing with an icredible energy, the same energy that has guided him in his work and his passions. Great lover of music, rock, punk but also sport and especially dance in all its forms; he put his vitality into his work. His work as a photographer is a testament to what he was: an artist, a friend, an admirer of art. A keen observer of movement and the images. André Nitschke is - and always will be - the man who photographed dance in the Grand East of France and elsewhere. This page built almost 10 years ago, with almost all of his work, will remain open so that we can remember. She will remain a memory to bear witness to his gaze - his particular eye - as a photographer. Each photo, each of his projects is the testimony of an artistic and friendly meeting between him, the photographer and the artist, dancer, musician or model. A great man, a sensitive artist, has left us. His work will forever remain in our hearts and thoughts.
