12 Hoi An Experiences You’ll Never Forget:

Who has Vietnam on their bucket list?

🪭 Quan Cong Temple

🪷 Ba Mu Temple Gate

☕️ Faifo Coffee: the most aesthetic coffee shop in town with a great rooftop view

🚲 Rent bicycles: lots of hotels offer this

🌴 Coconut Basket Boat Tour at Coconut Village

🥭 Night Market: came here every night for dinner, the fresh fruit juices and mango sticky rice was elite!

🏮 Lantern Stalls at the Night Market

🥤 Mot: the most popular drink in Hoi An that every tourist tries.

🛶 Lantern boat ride

🛍️ Souvenir shopping: there’s so many beautiful local shops for handmade lanterns, fans (you’ll need one in the heat) or even some custom tailored outfits.

🫖 Reaching Out Tea House: beautiful atmosphere where all staff are hearing and speech impaired.

🌈 Most importantly just wander the old town exploring all the colourful architecture and lanterns

PERAST 3 NIGHTS:
🚤 One of the prettiest European villages! Take a €5 boat to the island church Our Lady of the Rocks for the best view of Perast.

🍨 Get gelato at Moritz Eis, the mandarin was my fav.

🍝 Have dinner by the water

DAY TRIP: KOTOR
🏃‍♀️ There can be several cruise ships docking here everyday so the town is always very crowded. I much preferred Perast, but l recommend doing the hike up to the castle ruins. The trail costs €15 to access and takes about an hour to reach the top.

DAY TRIP: KOTOR CABLE CAR
⛰️ Tickets are €25 for a return trip on the cable car. The Alpine Coaster at the top is a must! It costs €12 and you control how fast you go and trust me you can go really fast as long as the person in front of you isn’t going too slow!

🍸 There’s also a couple cafes at the top of the mountain with amazing views. I recommend getting drinks and Nutella crepes from

BUDVA 4 NIGHTS:
📷 Head to Budva Dancing Girl sculpture for the best view of Budva Old Town. The medieval town is great to explore in between your beach adventures.

🛥️ We also booked a boat tour that took us along the coast down to Sveti Stefan followed by a stop at Hawaii island.

DAY TRIP: SVETI STEFAN
🏖️ Take the bus 15min down the coast to Sveti Stefan. Spend the day at the beach here or walk through the park to Milocer beach. This beach was truly stunning with its villa backdrop!

🍹 Finish the day with sunset drinks at Olive restaurant.

DAY TRIP: LAKE SKADAR
🛶 We hired a taxi for the day and visited Pavlova Strana Viewpoint and then drove an hour to Virpazar for a boat tour of the lake. We booked 2hr private boat for €70 but there’s also larger group tour boats available. The lake is famous for its water lilies but they are only in season during the summer.

Have more time? Head north for a few days at Durmitor National Park or travel along the coast for some more beach towns.
