THE TRAKA 200
GRAVEL IS HARD.

Started too strong, struggled to keep the pace.
100km with empty body is a hard way to learn but well, it’s long distance baby 😅
Finishing digging very deep in the last strength, missing my 8h goal from a bit but still blessed to be there and finish this crazy race !

This my first long distance race, let’s not forget that 200k is NOT normal and not to be underestimated. Gravel race is a game, I felt it, I loved it. 🥹

Training is going well ✌🏻body is ready to race 😭

Traka is around the corner and we just finished a big 22hrs gravel bike week.
Did you know that strade Bianche are difficult AF ? I didn’t.
Fueled by Haribo and any kind of carbs, last one is exactly how I feel after my gps annonce the 659th crazy steep climb in Tuscany 🫠🫨

2 years ago exactly now we were having a blast doing a lot of riding with the only purpose to catch this fu****g ferries ✌🏻🛶

This year I changed the way I train and I see training. I don’t train or cycle because I need to. I do because I want to.
does his little experiments on training program and I then I just train because I love it. Just driven by the target, the passion.
When snow or rain comes (at least if I get prepared before I start 🫠) then it’s fine. We will still enjoy it, it’ll train my mental and strengthen my motivation for the sunny days.
So yes I just love this game. I’m no longer training to please anyone but me.
The best season is around the corner. Sun and races. ✌🏻
