A peaceful moment before the wonderful chaos. In the heart of Venice.

I think that the getting ready part of the day isn't just about beautiful and perfect portraits. I honestly don't think it's about photos at all.

More than anything it's a few moments you have for yourself. To prepare for what's coming. To breathe and let this feeling sink in. To let yourself feel all the feelings that might come up. To give them space. To think about all the people and moments that brought you to this place.

Getting ready is one big excited breath before it all begins.

No matter how beautiful photos and videos turn out after a session - polaroids are ALWAYS by far my favourite! 🤎

It's so funny to me when people ask me what filters or canva frames I use to get these posts! No filters or frames can get close to how incredible real polaroids are! This is the real thing! And I'm quite literally obsessed with my polaroid camera 🤓

A vintage polaroid camera that is more than double my age, black and white film and lots of trial and error.

My favourite part is giving an album full of these beautiful polaroids to my clients at the end of an experience! The look of pure disbelief and amazement always makes my heart melt!! My favourite part of my buainess for sure!

You can now add polaroids to any of my experiences (weddings, family, motherhood, slef love)

I believe the moments that matter most aren’t the obvious ones.

The moments where you’re barely holding back the tears, when you're dancing in the streets of Paris and it feels like you're dreaming. When Louvre is bathing in golden light as someone is playing the cello under the beautiful arches.

The quiet moments in between, when everything finally sinks in and you realise that all of this is real.

Super 8 postcards from some of my favorite places this year 🎞

Florence, the Dolomites, Tuscany, Isle of Skye, and Paris

There’s something so undeniably beautiful about super 8 film.

One of my favourite parts of creating wedding films and family documentaries is getting back the scans from the lab and sitting down for a mini movie night. It always makes me emotional because there's just something so special and nostalgic about it! 🥹🤎

Adding it to any film makes everything feel so much more intimate, real and honest.
