Photography is a medium to show something to me. Not what you have seen but how you did see it.

So whenever I see a photograph, i try to understand what is to be seen. And frankly I can see a lot of photographers who obviously did not ask themselves this question.

The second question I ask myself is why this photo would be more interesting than the trillions of photos published everyday on Instagram. The answer to that is not easy because it means you need to recognize that you have a lot of trash. And yes, I have a lot of trash that I keep for me in respect to my audience. I liked the contrast between the Yandex Go logo and this old André sign. It made me laugh.

Once I came back here yesterday, I realized that I started a ritual: I will probably see the same people waiting for the same bus everyday as I come at the same hour. That man on the right did exactly the same thing the last time I saw him: eat some grains while waiting for his bus home.

I like trying photos with elements that we usually consider ugly. Who can say that he finds this steel sheet wall pretty ? I found that pretty personally.
