leur admiration pour cette harmonie entre l’Homme et la nature. Dans le prolongement des 8 livres publiés, à la manière d’un almanach,
le cycle des posts quotidiens correspond à la Génèse de cette création : l’eau, la terre, le feu, l’art de bâtir, vivre ensemble, transmettre la vie, action de grâce...

VIVRE ENSEMBLE
La veste semble de rigueur pour les petits garçons à l’image de leur père ainsi que le couvre-chef. Cheveux courts, papillotes ou tonsure signent les différents milieux, villageois des tribus, juif, bédouin.

ﺍﻟﻌﻴﺶ سويا
يبدو أن ارتداء الصبية الصغار للسترة كان أمرًا شائعًا اقتداءً بآبائهم، وكذلك الحال بالنسبة لغطاء الرأس. كما كانت تسريحات الشعر المختلفة — كالشعر القصير، والخصال الجانبية، أو حلق جزء من الرأس — تعكس البيئات والانتماءات المتنوعة، سواء كانوا من أبناء القبائل القروية، أو من اليهود، أو من البدو.

LIVING TOGETHER
Just like their fathers, young boys seem to need jackets and hats. The type of haircut they have — whether it’s short hair, curls, or a tonsure — reveals their background: whether they are tribal villagers, Jews, or Bedouins.

Batir
Juchée sur sa falaise la maison tour s’affirme dans le prolongement direct du rocher, comme une véritable forteresse. Sur le rocher de Bayt Bawz au Sud de Sanaa une inscription sudarabique atteste de l’ancienneté de l’occupation du site.

البناء
يتربع البناء على حافة جرف صخري، وكأنها امتداد مباشر للصخرة نفسها، فتبدو كحصن منيع, وعلى صخرة بيت بوس في جنوب صنعاء، يشهد نقشٌ بخط المسند ( الكتابة العربية الجنوبية القديمة ) على قِدم الاستيطان في هذا الموقع.

BUILDING
Yemen’s architecture is characterized by its rich diversity of solutions adapted to different climates, geographies, and geologies. Examples include brick courtyard houses in the Tihama region, stone tower houses carved into mountainsides, and mud-brick tower houses in desert oases.

يُعدّ تنظيف هيكل السفينة من الطحالب والأصداف البحرية ثم إعادة طلائه أمرًا ضروريًا للحفاظ على القاع المغمور من الهيكل (الكارينة) في حالة جيدة. الحديدة، 1995.

VIVRE ENSEMBLE
Aux parois de la hutte, structure de branchages enduite intérieurement de terre argileuse, sont exposés, en grand nombre, les plats émaillés pour l’exercice de l’hospitalité. Leur grand nombre témoigne de la grande générosité de la famille.

ﺍﻟﻌﻴﺶ سويا
الجدران الداخلية للكوخ، المشيَّد من الأغصان والمغطّى بطبقة من الطين، مزينة بعدد كبير من الأطباق الميناوية (المطلية بالمينا) المستخدمة في استقبال الضيوف. ويُعدّ هذا العدد الكبير من الأطباق دليلاً على كرم الأسرة وسخائها.

LIVING TOGETHER
The inside walls of the hut, made of branches and coated with clay, are adorned with an abundance of enamel dishes used for entertaining guests. The abundance of dishes is a testament to the family’s generosity.
