My favorite one. Look how the umbrella perfectly matches the building. This is why I love street photography.

Strong contrast, yet some familiarity in the angles of these two objects.

One of these frames only worked because a stranger’s umbrella happened to match a building.

📍 The building is Minato-Machi River Place, an octagon shaped concert hall on the Dotonbori river, and it’s the main character of the first three shots

☂️The umbrella shot meant standing in one exact spot until the shapes lined up

🚧 The neon wire was already on that construction wall, and I just waited for someone in pink to walk past it

🏃‍♂️I feel like I didn’t optimise that last shot of the Glico man the way I should have. Let me know what you think, how would you have shot it?
