As if I were walking through a movie, from one setting to another… to
Even though the Getty houses major works of art, the place itself feels like a work of art. Suspended in the hills of Los Angeles and reached by a small private tram, it takes you into an almost surreal world.
You could almost imagine it as a secret laboratory, a longevity center, or a futuristic base designed to welcome visitors from another world…
And to end my day, it’s time to cross the city…
Leaving the heights of the Getty behind and heading up to the Observatory, just before nightfall, to see the Hollywood Sign.
One last change of scenery, as if Los Angeles itself were writing the next scene of the movie.
Up there, the light slowly fades, the sky changes color, and the city begins to light up, one glow at a time, right before our eyes.
