A sunrise start, a 7-year-old, and a family ready to explore Paris is my idea of the perfect morning!
When Momma first reached out, she knew exactly what she wanted. The Eiffel Tower, of course, but more than that! She wanted to capture what it actually feels like to walk through Paris as a family. The little in-between moments that end up meaning the most!
And with this curious, playful, very-much-on-the-move 7-year-old leading the way, we knew pretty quickly this wasn’t going to be a checklist session.
So we gave ourselves time. We started slowly at the Trocadéro in that gorgeous soft morning light, then wandered toward the Bir-Hakeim Bridge, letting the walk between locations become part of the story. We paused when something caught her attention. We followed her lead!
Because every parent knows kids this age don’t want to stand still and smile on command! They want to explore, imagine, run around a little, have a little cuddle, then take some space.
And when you lean into that, everything goes that much more smoothly! The session feels easier, the energy stays light, and the photos start to reflect what it actually felt like to be there.
By the time we reached the Bir-Hakeim Bridge, it didn’t feel like a photoshoot anymore. It felt like a morning in Paris that just happened to be documented along the way!
“These are so beautiful!!! You are so talented! Thank you for capturing our family and for these memories. We love them!”
