Returned to Anime North after missing out last year!

Went back to be doing my thing of walking around AN and photographing cosplayers around the lot and the halls, though I had to bail out early Saturday due to the weather so no floor shots from that day sadly :(

Thanks to everyone I met and shot with in photoshoots and around the con! Expect to see my collection of AN floor pics on my FB page soon so stay tuned

Recently came back from visiting the Philippines and Japan for a handful of weeks

As some of you may know, this trip occured for very personal reasons. If you don't, you're welcome to ask

After what has been an extremely tough year so far, this trip was sudden and unexpected. Just two months before leaving I was not at all expecting to be in Asia in any capacity

But as last minute as it was, because of how life has gone, a big goal was to try and enjoy myself, the sights and company

Still, there are tons of thoughts and feelings to process so I'll keep on keeping on. And mayhaps you'll see more photos from the journey. I did take tons of photos

I recently spent a week in and around Paris
If I wasn't at my friends house, or at a landmark, I was walking around aimlessly for hours
It was the first time I've ever been to Europe
In many ways, I wish I were still there
Have to visit more places next year

I was at Fan Expo this past weekend but only for a day and had no time to do hall shots this time around. Decided to change the pace a bit as well

There were a lovely bunch of photoshoots to do outside though as well as covering the afterparty so good nerd vibes were all around, such as these BG3 friendos Jojo posing because they can

Back home from

Had an amazing first time at the con and just an all around great experience in Montreal

Humidity notwithstanding

It was also refreshing to go to a con outside of Ontario. Will definitely try to make Otakuthon a regular thing for me from now on

I'll be at Otakuthon for the FIRST TIME in a couple of weeks

It'll be my first time attending a con in another province so I'm excited to see what it'll be like compared to my usual Southern Ontario experiences
