At 19 years old, Sofia Zanfari has reached a major milestone in her young career. The Moroccan driver is among the 18 rising talents selected for the prestigious 2026 F1 Academy Rookie Test, the all-female championship running alongside Formula 1 Grands Prix. This opportunity rewards her continuous progression and strong single-seater performances since her debut in 2025.

A comprehensive and demanding assessment programme

For the 2026 edition, F1 Academy is raising the bar of its evaluation process by partnering with the prestigious Loughborough University in the United Kingdom. From 25 to 27 August, the drivers first took part in an intensive training camp featuring physiological assessments, cognitive testing, and elite-level mental preparation workshops.

The selection process will continue on track from 9 to 11 September at the Navarra circuit in Spain, behind the wheel of cars run by the grid’s official teams.

La pilote marocaine fait partie des 18 espoirs retenues pour le prestigieux Rookie Test 2026 de la F1 Academy, le championnat 100 % féminin disputé en marge des Grands Prix de Formule 1. Une opportunité qui vient saluer son ascension continue et ses performances remarquées en monoplace depuis ses débuts en 2025.

Un programme de détection complet et exigeant

Pour cette édition 2026, la F1 Academy renforce sa démarche d'évaluation en s'associant à la prestigieuse Université de Loughborough, au Royaume-Uni. Du 25 au 27 août, les pilotes ont d'abord participé à un camp d'entraînement intensif : bilans physiologiques, tests cognitifs et ateliers de préparation mentale appliquée au très haut niveau.

La sélection se poursuivra ensuite en piste, du 9 au 11 septembre sur le circuit de Navarra en Espagne, au volant des monoplaces exploitées par les équipes officielles de la grille.

The 2026 Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy is set for its thrilling showdown this week at the Steel Ring circuit in Třinec, Czech Republic. From September 9 to 13, the fourth and final round of the season will crown the new European champions.

The RMC Euro Trophy heads back to the Czech venue for the second consecutive year, following a memorable 2025 debut highlighted by a spectacular finals day.

Coveted tickets to Portimão up for grabs
Beyond the continental silverware, the Třinec meeting will award the final tickets to the 2026 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals in Portimão. The following drivers will secure their entry:
- The Mini MAX winner
- The top 3 in Junior MAX and Senior MAX
- The champion and vice-champion in DD2
- The champion in DD2 Masters

This fourth round will officially decide the 2026 European titles in Junior MAX, Senior MAX, DD2, and DD2 Masters. In parallel, the Czech Euro Cup crowns will be contested in Mini MAX, E20 Senior, and E20 Masters.
