Every dancer starts somewhere, and one of the best parts of the studio experience is discovering what they're capable of.

From gentle guidance and encouragement to exploring different poses and ideas together, every step is carefully supported. There's no expectation to know what to do—we'll work through it as a team.

This beautiful session with Isla combined elegant classical ballet on our ballet set with a more relaxed rehearsal-inspired look, showing two very different sides of the same young dancer. But we also fitted in the classics!

Watching confidence grow throughout a shoot is always one of my favourite parts.

Every dancer has more than one story to tell.

From beautiful classical lines and quiet, contemplative ballet portraits to flowing fabric, the studio ropes and a soft lyrical look, one session can take you in so many different creative directions.

There's no set formula. We simply build the shoot around the dancer, exploring different ideas, movement and moods to create a collection that's as individual as they are.

This was such a beautiful session with Freya from beginning to end.

Some ideas become favourites almost by accident.

The ropes have become one of the most popular parts of the studio, and it's easy to see why. Add an oversized hat, a warrior-inspired look with axes and swords, and suddenly we're creating something completely different from the images e anticipated.

It might not be traditional dance photography... but who cares? Creativity doesn't have limits, and some of the most memorable images come from trying something unexpected.

These creative development sessions are where new ideas take shape. Some stay as one-offs, others become part of the studio experience for years to come.

With August almost fully booked, our next development sessions will return in the autumn. If you'd love to be involved in creating something a little different, keep an eye on the page.

Some of our most creative ideas begin during our development sessions.

New props, fresh colours, oversized flowers, giant pearls... and a dancer who's always willing to embrace something a little different.

Not every idea makes it into the studio forever, but every now and then something just works. I think these might have done.

Awesome Anaya. One shoot. So many possibilities.

From elegant fabric shots, headshots and jazz to bold contemporary portraits, every session is shaped around the dancer in front of the camera. Different lighting, different ideas, different moods... all designed to create a collection that's as varied as their talent.
Its your shoot- I guide you all the way, suggest things as we go but your suggestions and your preferences are vital too.

This was such a fantastic shoot with a truly talented dancer. I wonder which image people like most.

Ronni. Strong. Focused. Unmistakably herself.

Photographing dancers is always special, but it's even more meaningful when dance is part of the family story. Her mum is also a dance teacher, so every step, every line and every achievement reflects years of encouragement, hard work and belief.

Awesome to photograph this talented dancer all the way from Scotland.
