An early post today to let you know I’ll be slightly slower on socials this weekend. It’s been a bit of a manic week, a lot has gone on work and personal so I’m feeling slightly behind but after tomorrows wedding I’ll be in a full time editing cave which I actually can’t wait for to get all the remaining galleries out to everything!

I’ve had a bunch of beautiful enquiries this week and a few for this wonderful venue which fills me with joy. I do just need to note that just because an enquiry form has gone in, I can’t keep the date unless we’ve moved forward into a discovery call so if you are hoping to book me, I’d love to get these booked in sooner rather than later.

I hope you all have a gorgeous weekend and I’ll get back to everyone as quickly as I can. Anything from tomorrow will be answered Sunday as I’ll likely have low signal in tomorrow’s wedding!

Who am I when I’m not photographing your wedding? 🐾

I’m a dog mum who spends her life with my reactive German Shepherd, Cooper, living as much of it as we can outdoors.

This week, I had an enquiry from a fellow reactive dog mum who is actually planning her wedding around my availability, so that her dog can have that safe space with me on the day.

When I say this fills me with the most joy, I genuinely don’t think I can put it into words.

Cooper’s reactivity is part of his life, but it’s not who he is. And knowing that someone sees that I understand the same about their dogs means more to me than I can explain.

It’s also made me realise just how much I share that part of my life over on Cooper’s account, and how much it’s become a part of who I am as a photographer too.

So this one is for the dog parents. The reactive dog parents. And anyone who wants someone by their side on their wedding day who will care about their dog just as much as they care about them.

Because weddings can be overwhelming for any dog, reactive or not. Having a safe space, someone who understands them, and someone who won’t judge them if they’re not having the best time is so important.

If your dog is a huge part of your life, they’re a huge part of mine too.

We’re back in the world of rain and using the weather apps like it’s a religion. I feel like I actually forgot what it’s like to check the weather 😅

However this is one of my most magical weddings and it poured down literally all day. Proof that you can still have a wonderful day if the vibes are there ✨

Well worth the round trip to Birmingham for a second shooting gig and straight back to Rest Bay for 7pm 🥹💛✨

I have learnt this first hand, and I’ll always tell you to DO IT ANYWAY. This is your life, you need to live it and follow your heart. 9 years I’ve been photographing weddings and I’m almost hitting my first year fully self employed this September. I’m so grateful to every single one of you that chose me this year and as wedding season starts to slow down, I can say I’m very excited for what next year has to bring me 💛

Molly & Lewis at Tŷ Glyn Weddings ✨

I’ve had the most hectic weekend of the year and took an unintentional day off to recover today. It’s been very wholesome. I took Cooper out early, came back to spend time with my brother and his wife who came to visit and then took my dad blackberry picking. I’m now sat down to finish some previews before having a few days of editing before my next wedding on Thursday!
