I had to jump in this trend going on Instagram… a yes , But … finish photos vs raw files.
So I am taking you behind the scenes on this photoshoot at Cullen beach with Ellie and her family and horse ❤️
Every photographer has their unique style and these photos could be edited in many way, but this is my way:)
Biggest compliment I get is when people recognize my photos before they saw they were taken by me ❤️

An absolute joy to photograph them all and we also did lots of family photos that I will share later, nothing better than family photos with the horses joining in 🐎🥰

Cullen beach in north east Scotland is amazing and the weather was just as ordered 👌

✨2026 photos, but without horses and dogs in them!✨

Not that many if I am honest 😅 but I definitely need to do more ❤️ I really do enjoy photographing wildlife and stags in the heather are on my list!
Would also love to photograph a hare a hawk and an owl 🦉 one day!

The mountain 🏔️ and squirrel are both from my trip to Canada 🇨🇦 the rest from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

A little summary of some of my 2026 photos ❤️
Always fun to look back, I can’t believe we are already over half way through this year!
So grateful for the amazing memories I have had the joy of capturing, from snow storms to golden light, highland cows and the amazing people along the way with their horses and dogs ❤️

Just a big thank you to those how have booked me this year, I so appreciate you all ❤️
A wonderful beach session coming up this week and still have a couple of spots available for autumn if you have been thinking of a session with me ❤️

I am kind of lost for words trying to sum up yesterday’s pet plan area festival finals and this last year of embarking on a new adventure.

Last September Boon and I entered our very first dressage show and with many bumps in the roads to follow we manged to qualify for yesterdays pet plan finals.
3 weeks ago he got his leg caught in some wire on his field and I thought we were out, but after 2 weeks boon told me he was ready and with 3 practices last week we entered yesterday with the goal of riding a nice test and enjoy our day ❤️

But my amazing cow pony always steps it up a notch when it counts and went in a gave me 3rd place 🥉
I am so incredibly proud of this guy, going from chasing cows in Texas to now being a English dressage pony ❤️ thank you so much boon for being the best pony in the world, words will never be enough to say how much you mean to me ❤️

Huge thanks to everyone how has helped us get where we are today, Eilidh Grant for amazing coaching, Sharon Sharon Bronsveld for all the advice on nutrition and health, Tori the best vet, Wendy my farrier who is absolute gold! And Gus our great osteopath
Tony for being our biggest cheerleader 🥰

And that I got to go do this with one of my good friend Sarah Roy and see her win the class and stand together on the podium was really cool!
